Forward Motion on the Rock is a boutique festival for the over 25s, bringing together a diverse crowd of ravers who all have one thing in common – they share a love for house music. From sold-out events across London and Ibiza, it’s now time to spend 4 days and 4 nights together as a family on the beautiful island of Malta, where we celebrate music, freedom and life in the sun.
The Festival is being held in mainland Malta. The main venues are Uno, Cafe Del Mar & The Beach At Little Armier Bay
Forward Motion On The Rock takes place 24th + 25th + 26 + 27th September 2026. Our welcome party Thursday evening with our closing party on Sunday night!
Our schedule will be released shortly before the event starts in an info pack sent to all customers.
Malta’s nice and hot in September, and has an average high temperature of 28ºC. You’ll need your swimwear and beach gear for the day, and only some light clothes for the evenings, as temperatures may drop to 20ºC
No outside food or beverages are allowed in the festival. All our venues will have multiple bars and food will also be available to purchase on-site.

TICKETS
Access to all our events every day / night excluding Boat Parties.

No - tickets for these are sold separately. Tickets for boat parties will be announced closer to the festival.

Festival Passes start at £129. VIP festival passes start from £169
You will receive a QR code will be sent 7 days before the event starts. You can exchange this for a wristband at our box office at the venues.
Once you confirm your purchase, you will receive a confirmation email with all your booking details. You can log into your account on bookings.forwardmotionmalta.com/bookings to view and download your ticket(s) at any time. This makes it easy to locate your ticket/booking when needed and avoids misplacing on your device!
Please note that if you have purchased Payment Plan Festival Tickets and/or Payment Plan Accommodation, then these ticket types will not be available to download until they are paid in full.

You are able to resell your tickets
In the highly unlikely scenario our festival were to be canceled all ticket holders would be eligible for a refund.
If you can no longer attend the festival we do allow name transfers on tickets.
You will be asked to show your photo ID when collecting wristbands at the venue Box Office to prove that the name on the ticket matches the name on your ID.
Information regarding box office location and opening times will be revealed closer to the time of the event.

PAYMENT PLANS
We have payment plan options to spread the cost of the weekender across monthly installments. If you pay via the payment plan option, you will pay the first installment at the time of booking (25%) and then pay the subsequent installments monthly. A 3% payment plan fee is added to the total balance for this service.
Yes, Klarna is available and will appear upon checkout.
If a payment plan has been set up, we will automatically take the installment on each payment date on the plan.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the payment card details remain valid and up to date. If you need to change your payment card details you must do this before payment of the next instalment becomes due.
Please be aware, that if the same payment fails 3 times, then your booking is at risk of being cancelled.
If you have booked a payment plan and we have your card saved, you can update your payment details by logging into bookings.forwardmotionmalta.combookings

ACCESSIBILITY

Each accessibility customer is entitled to one (1) complimentary companion ticket. The companion will receive the same ticket type as the customer — for example, if you have a VIP ticket, your companion will also receive VIP access.
A valid Disability Card or relevant documentation must be presented when collecting your wristbands to confirm eligibility.
TRAVEL
Malta International Airport (MLA)
We advise you to book your flights as early as possible to get the cheapest prices. Check out Skyscanner to compare flight prices for all airlines.
We recommend using Uber/Bolt to get around the island. Alternatively there are rental companies you can hire Cars
Malta drive on the left side of the road, and the steering wheel is on the right side of the car (the same as the UK).
